Support Playnet Community

Help us build and maintain our community spaces, projects, and initiatives. Your contributions directly fund community activities, infrastructure, and member-led projects.

How to Donate

We use Open Collective as our transparent funding platform, which allows you to see exactly how your donations are used and ensures accountability in our community spending.

One-time or recurring donations welcome

  • Monthly supporters help us plan long-term projects

  • All amounts make a difference in our community

Community Financial Transparency

Everyone can:

  • Submit Invoices for collective-contribution

  • Request reimbursement for approved community purchases

  • View our budget and see how funds are allocated

All expenses are reviewed and approved by our community administrators before reimbursement.

Institutional Funding & Tax Information

For US Foundations & Institutional Funders:

Open Collective Europe (our fiscal sponsor) holds an Equivalency Determination (ED) Certificate, which formally recognizes them as equivalent to a US public charity. This allows US foundations and institutional funders to donate to Playnet through Open Collective Europe without conducting their own equivalency vetting process.

For Individual Donors:

  • Direct donations to Playnet are not tax-deductible for individual donors (US or international)

  • US individual donors seeking tax deductibility: Donations must be processed through Open Collective Europe's partner organization Myriad USA, which can issue tax receipts for eligible initiatives

  • Important: Tax-deductible donations may experience significant delays (up to six months) due to processing requirements

  • We recommend the tax-deductible route only for substantial donations (several thousand USD or more)
